Applications
The InLineBox-CS6 with compatible 18 V Makita battery is the performance upgrade for your tool park. With an opening width of 54 mm, the battery-operated hydraulic on-ground cutter severs not only cables and solid materials but also steel and wire ropes as well as overhead lines powerfully, quickly and safely. The ergonomic design with low center of gravity provides a high degree of stability. It can thus be positioned well and safely as an on-ground tool as well as a hand-held device.

Thanks to its balanced, ergonomic design, it can be easily handled with one hand or used as a stand-alone tool for large diameters. The compact design and the 180° rotatable head allow the tool to be easily positioned on the workpiece. The cutting head with its closed cutting geometry is ideal for safe cutting. The LED for illuminating the working area provides support.
You have full tool control via the forward and reverse buttons, which you can use to control the cutting process at any time. The tool is compatible with 18 V lithium-ion batteries from Makita.

In addition to cutting copper and aluminum wire up to 54 mm, the strand cutter also cuts through round material up to 35 mm and even round steel up to 22 mm in diameter. In overhead line construction, you can cut Al/St ropes up to Ø 54 mm. The energy industry uses the tool for power cables up to Ø 54 mm.
